Eco Nap
By: Diana Ours - Romney, WV, January 19, 2009
I just received my Eco Nap dog mat and so far (fingers crossed) my dog hasn't tried to eat it. I have bought beds before and she shreded them. So, I am pleased that she actually uses this mat for its intended purpose. Thanks for a great GREEN product. Also, your website is great. It's easy to navigate and simple to use. I can get in, order, and be out in just a few minutes. So far I have only used one of your products, but I will be back.
Bumper Bed
Great bed and made in the U.S.A!
By: Joanna Metzger - Libertyville, IL October 22, 2008
The is the best bed I've ever seen or purchased. It is very durable, washable and is made in the good 'ole U.S.A.
The "other" beds at the large chain stores cannot compete and they are not durable like this.
I will be purchasing another.
Sleepy Time
By: Jennifer - Alabama April 17, 2008
Our toy poodle liked this bed from the beginning. She fits comfortably curled up or stretched out. The stripes are good for concealing dirt, but the fabric seems very durable. Our poodle likes to hear her claws as she's "making herself a bed." The hampton stripe is more pink than red...cute and girly, in my opinion.
Putty fabric (twill?) not as tough ..
By: Kristin - New Jersey March 12, 2008
... as the chocolate fabric (denim?).
We have two dogs - and therefore two beds. They do love to chew -- and the putty fabric of the bumper bed just isn't as durable as the chocolate fabric.
They are great beds -- but I wish I would have known there was a fabric difference before buying.
Better than the others
By: LG - illinois February 27, 2008
Recently bought a large striped bumper bed for our large goldendoodle. She was very attached to her other (worn out) bed so I wasn't sure how she would take to this new bed. She LOVES it! She likes to snuggle in the middle and rest her head on the bumper edge. The fabric is great and it looks fantastic in my son's room. Spend the $$$; these beds are worth it. I'm about to buy two more for other areas in the house.
CHIHUAHUA IN HEAVEN
By: Kelly McDonald - Boston, MA February 21, 2008
My spoiled Chihuahua has two of these beds (actually, one organic) in our apartment, and spends every second he can in them. I have bad allergies, and love that these can be easily washed. Love that they are eco-friendly, and that best of all, the material holds up and looks good. We are getting another rescue Chihuahua on Saturday, hopefully he is willing to share his two beds!
Tuckered Out Dog Bed
Love it!
By: Cindy - NC October 10, 2008
My 10-year-old golden retriever LOVES this bed. She has never cared for laying on dog beds, but she stretches out in this one all the time. I find her also snuggling in the bumper and using it for support.
Best Dog Bed I've Purchased
By: Ann Boyd - Portland, OR January 26, 2008
On an average day my husband and I have three pugs running around in our household; our two and a foster. I purchased this bed specifically for our nine year old rescue who has a difficult time getting around because of her severe luxating patellas. Just as I thought, having a bolster like shape allows her to easily get in and out of her bed. Little did we know, the new bed would take presedence over our laps. I guess this means we're going to get one for each room. Thanks for making such a great bed and we appreciate them being eco friendly too!
By: Bethany - Toronto October 23, 2007
The very best bed anywhere for my dog ! Tried several different ( and expensive ) kinds.
She fell in love with this Tuckered Out. She is only 5 pounds, not very much hair, and young - bed is not just for older dogs!
It's warm, dog can snuggle in any way - the bed forms to the dogs' position. She digs like crazy - the material has held up incredibly to the abuse. It is a great compromise between a donut shape and a flat pad.
AND, it's easy to get into ( great for tiny dog legs ).
We are looking forward to more color options becoming available
in the future ( hopefully ).
Plumb Tuckered out is Right
By: donald park May 26, 2007
I had to write and tell you the great success of purchasing this bed, and the only downfall I may have with it.
We Purchased this bed for our little buddy Gizmo, he is getting up there in age, and takes about fifteen or so lurks to even be able to jump into our laps anymore. His old joints hurt alot more now days.
Well on with the results of our purchase, We purchased the tuckered out bed for Gismo, and he loves it, everytime we look and the bed is filled with either Gizmo or the Cat Gabby cat, which leads me to the downfall, there are times Gizmo wants to lay in his bed but cant due to the cat sleeping in it, Looks as though I am gonna have to puchase another one for the cat, so they quit arguing like children on who is gonna sleep in the bed. Also do you make them in human size, they are Great.
Big Sky Dog Bed
By: Victoria - San Antonio September 10, 2008
My one year old pup, Reilly, loves this bed! He crashes onto it after playing and falls asleep immediately! It stands up to dog hair and dirty paws extremely well too! Thank you for your wonderful, earth-friendly products.
By: Julie - columbus ohio December 1, 2007
I bought the extra large bed, pawprint color, and my dogs all love it!! I have a Golden, a Papillon and a JRT...and all 3 of them fit on it at once!! They use it all the time and even with 3 shedding breeds it looks like new after several months of using it. Thanks for a great product!!
Eco Friendly Dog Toys
Three Large Dogs
By: Julie - Colorado September 22, 2008
All three dogs love chomping and chasing our Huck. It has stood up to all of their antics with only a little scratch or two. I went back to our local store and purchased another two so the girls don't have to share. Yesterday was a ball-throwing-fest and so much fun!
13 month old Lab
By: Sue Herrmann - Kenosha WI September 4, 2008
I have enjoyed watching my lab, now 13 months with several of the toys. At about 6 months he chewed through the zisc in about an hour, which I sent back for the refund. He has enjoyed the Hurley as has his dad, who put the first bite into it. We have now gone the last month has a favorite fetch and chew toy, but alas it may be retired has one end is gone. As they are non toxic and made in the USA, I am online to purchase a new one.
Lasted 10 minutes
By: Kimberly Pinckney - Houston, TX September 3, 2008
We just bought the Huck for our 11 month old dachshund. The store owner raved about the product and we thought we'd finally found something that would last a few days. Alas, I had to take it back up after about 10 minutes because of the amount my dog had already managed to chew off and eat. We have had much better luck with the Hurley. One whole day and counting! I'm hoping they will replace our damaged Huck with another, less destructible design.
Check one off for the Dogue de Bordeaux!
By: Pepe Rodriguez-Moreno - Farmington, Minnesota August 26, 2008
Well I was hoping for the best from the huck and found that it fell short. I bought the hurley and huck for my French Mastiff(1yr) and I guess the huck took the brunt of the abuse and went down for the count after 30 minutes. My dog started to break off chunks from the lip of the ball. Maybe if it gave the dog less of a grip it would last longer. The hurley on the other hand has lasted and even after the valiant efforts of my Pumpkin. I recommend this one highly.
Small Dog Toys
Best Little Toy for a Little Dog
By: Cara - New York May 11, 2008
At three pounds my chihuahua finds most dog toys too big or intimidating. This little stuffed pooch has been her number one toy since we have brought her home. She still (2 years later) carries him around the house. It is her only toy that she takes to bed with her. She loves this little toy so much, we bought the rest of the small toy group. She loves them all. Great tiny product for great tiny dogs!
Puppy pooch
By: B J - Texas October 16, 2007
I have bought 3 puppy pooch for my little dog. She just loves it. When I tell her to find Bebe She will look around to find puppy and brings it to me. It is just the right size for her. I wash it several times but she get upset when she can't sqeak it. So I always have to search around to buy a new one.
Interactive Dog Toys
Thank goodness
By: SoPo Pirates - Secret Pirate Cove, Maine October 28, 2008
Aaarrrrrgggggg, we were at our wit's end with finding something safe for our standard poodle puppy. The folks at the Pet Pantry in Freeport listened to our tale of his chewing and suggested several "tested" products. The only one that withstood the "RUGBY" test was the Hurley.
That was 4 months ago and it's still going strong!! Today we bought a Huck and are just as thrilled with it. Thank you, thank you, thank you
Lasted longer than expected
By: Jamie - Maine October 16, 2008
I bought one of these for my boyfriend's dog, Robbie. He is a pit bull/lab mix, and generally chews through everything in seconds. Kongs last longer, but will also be destroyed eventually. I bought the Hurley, curious to see how it held up. Immediately, it was clear that Robbie loved this new toy. The shape was good for tug-of-war, for bouncing around, and for holding down with his paws while he chewed. Two hours later, there were puncture marks around the ends. The toy lasted a week of diligent chewing, and then Robbie finally managed to gnaw one end off.
Overall, this didn't hold up as well as a Kong, but he LIKED it better than his Kong. He was clearly heartbroken when I took the broken Hurley away and gave him his Kong to chew on. I'll take advantage of the guarantee, but next time I'll try the Huck and see if that lasts better.
Thanks!
Survived two bulldogs!!
By: Jax - Temecula, CA September 24, 2008
I bought this toy with little hope that it would survive my two very large bulldogs who can and have chewed through every "indestructable" toy there is. I am so glad that I found this toy, they love it and have had it for about six months but have yet to destroy it. Believe me, I have tried everything that every pet store and website offered as strong and for "heavy chewers"!! I love it and even if they chew through it tomorrow six months is better than six minutes with the others which has ended up costing me hundreds of dollars in toys. Taz and Talulah thank you!!!!
GREAT TOY!
By: Cheryl - So. east Mass September 22, 2008
My 3 yr old lab and 2yr old pit bull could destroy every toy even Real bone, big hollow marrow bones. This toy has held up to its name, Guaranteed Tough! They loved it so much we went and got another so they wouldnt fight over it and we alot got the tux and huck....they love them all!
Wonderful Hurley
By: Paul - Absecon, NJ September 10, 2008
Hurley has been chewed every day for two years by sharp teeth and is holding up wonderfuly. We bought another two just in case Teddy loses his original.
Thank God for this toy!
By: Maddie - Iowa July 24, 2008
My puppy is a German Wirehaired Pointer, and she loves to destroy anything and everything she gets her paws on. It got very expensive replacing her toys every single week. She even destroys hard rubber toys. The Hurley has survived a month now, and she is still interested in it. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
holding up so far...
By: Anonymous - Chicago, IL July 18, 2008
Got a hurley from a local pet store a couple of weeks ago. It's been chewed on and tugged by our ACD and Siberian Husky without a mark thus far. They are strong chewers, but not the most powerful. If your dog can unstuff a plush toy in about 5 minutes but has to work harder at chipping a Kong, this is a great toy!
survived the jaws of death!
By: Anonymous - Colorado July 13, 2008
This is the only toy that our young lab mix has not destroyed within 15 minutes. He's had it a month and he hasn't even gnawed a small piece off yet. He finds it himself and has a good chew session with at at least once a day. We're going to try the frisbee next...
Hurley
By: ddl - Chatham, NY July 9, 2008
I think I have finally found a toy that my 23-lb hound mix cannot destroy. She has had this toy for about 3 weeks now and the toy shows no signs of destruction yet. She has chewed through practically everything else we have given her.
DDL
Pretty good toy
By: Hodges Family - Gloucester, Virginia July 5, 2008
Our dog loves the toy, but we keep having to trade it in every month or so for a new one. She chews through it, but not as quick as she does other toys. She has torn off pieces, as soon as they get that one piece started, thats the end of the toy.
Amazed!
By: Brittany - IL June 13, 2008
I am totally amazed by this toy. My year old Boston Terrier chews through everything, even the large sized black Kong toys. I found this toy and decided to try one more time with a chew toy (I had all but given up on finding something besides sterilized bones that would endure her chewing). It worked! So far we have had it for 4 months and she has only left a few teeth marks in it. It is her favorite toy and she even knows what to get when I say "green bone." If you have a Boston, you need to get one of these! It has saved me money and has saved my shoes.
Hurley is Great !!
By: Sadie - Michigan June 12, 2008
We have a 2 year old Lab that can destroy anything. She loves to play in the water with this toy. Living at the lake and having two Labs over the last 9 years we've been through many different water toys and this is the only toy I will buy now. It's easy on their mouth and easy for them to find in the water. When we throw it she loves going under water looking for it before it pops back to the surface, and plays by herself with it also. I'll be buying another one soon as we have a new Lab on the way. Thanks for such a wonderful product!
Hurley
By: Craig Bushey - Arcadia, Ca June 1, 2008
We have two less than two year old labs. Total destroyers. I've had to replace 9 sections of our pool vac due to their behavior, or lack of. The Hurley is great. Yes, they get little nicks out of it now and then, but they've had them for 72 hours now with little damage. The fact that they float makes it even better. I don't think there is a totally indestructable toy out there that a powerful dog can't get to, but this comes pretty darn close. I think they are well worth the money.
Small Dog Sweaters
By: Jen K. - Wappingers Falls October 2, 2008
I just bought these this past weekend for my two Wire Fox Terriers. I admit the price was a bit high but the fact that they are made in the USA and it's reclaimed cotton was a huge draw for me. But once I saw that design I was SOLD! The fact that the underbelly is cut short so that the dogs don't get it wet when doing their business was such a huge sell for me. Plus I love the fact that on top it's long enough to go to the tail. Perfect combination. Hopefully you'll start making them for big dogs. I can bet they'll want some soon. Thanks for such an awesome product!
